Expertise

Organized by responsibility, not by buzzwords: the things I'm actually accountable for in projects.

Solution and software architecture

Designing target architectures for business-critical systems, justifying decisions, and codifying them as principles, standards, and integration patterns. Certified iSAQB CPSA-F.

Enterprise modernization

Replacing grown application landscapes in a structured way: at Debeka, inside a program with more than 600 developers, without interrupting live operations.

Cloud and platform architecture

Azure architectures from edge to data: Front Door, WAF, Container Apps, managed databases, Key Vault, Managed Identity, and observability with Application Insights.

Multi-tenant SaaS and integration

Tenant-aware platforms with customer isolation, access governance, and auditability, connected through API-first integration and microservices.

Full-stack engineering and delivery

Production code on both sides of the stack: TypeScript, React, and Angular on the frontend, Node.js and NestJS on the backend, PostgreSQL and Redis, shipped with Docker and GitHub Actions.

Technical leadership

Leading and growing teams: defining engineering standards, guiding architectural decisions, planning delivery, and aligning technology with business stakeholders.

Business-process digitalization

Translating real workflows into software that holds up: shaped by advising roughly 15 SME clients and a focus on what processes actually need.

Technology landscape

The tools behind the projects, grouped honestly: what I use daily and in depth, and what I know at a working level.

About

I co-founded my first software and web development business in 2019, while still studying computer science. A pattern has run through my work ever since: I want to understand how a business works before deciding what its software should look like.

That pattern has taken me through very different orders of magnitude. As a freelance IT consultant with Contrast Digitalisierung, I advise SME clients on cloud adoption and digital transformation. At Debeka, as a Solution Architect, I helped shape the guardrails of one of the company's largest transformation programs, with more than 600 developers involved. Today at NoBaxx I own the target architecture of a multi-tenant SaaS platform and lead the team building it.

To me, leadership means setting standards, explaining decisions, and making developers better rather than hoarding knowledge. I stay close to the code, because an architecture that cannot be implemented is not one.

I work in German and English and deliberately look for roles with international reach, in Germany, Europe, and North America.
